Southwest Greens has recently celebrated a 15-year presence in the EMEA region — an anniversary we are pleased with. From a “cowboy” beginning of taking an artificial soccer field and labeling it a tee box to engineered solutions that look and play genuine — much as changed.
At Southwest Greens, we start developing while keeping the end result in mind. We strive to develop artificial putting green turf that has the same look and feel of traditional turf. The behavior we mentioned is relating to ball behavior — more particularly — bounce, aim, and roll.
Bounce, aim, and roll speaks of the underlying technology behind our artificial putting green turf products. This project is known as “Science Behind The Surface,” and we examine our artificial grass against natural greensward via a playability assessment tool.
